The Stephenville FAITH Knights brought home not one, but two wins on Friday night. Both the Jr. High and the Varsity won, leaving the Varsity 2-0 with another home game around the corner.
Friday, September 1, the Faith Knights met a local rival, Three Way Braves (0-2) for their
second home game of the season. The Knights started strong and kept up the
momentum, leading to a mercy rule at halftime and ending the game early, with the final score
of 50-0.
Offensively, Travis Robertson (Senior, #7) was the MVP of the game. With 276 rushing yards, 5
touchdowns and 66 passing yards, he was a huge part in leading the Knights to another win.
Defensively, Will Gliddon (Junior, #34) was a beast! With a total of 13 tackles, and 2 sacks he
put a great stop on the Braves, allowing the Knights a successful game.
The Knights Junior High also played and won, 45-26, for their first game of the season.
This Friday, September 8, the FAITH Knights are set to face the Walnut Springs Hornets (1-1) for yet another home game at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Mill. Come support your FAITH Knights!
