The Stephenville FAITH Knights volleyball (5-1) faced the Three Way Braves (1-10) on Tuesday, September 5, and it was another great night to be a Knight.

FAITH started out strong, winning their first set, 25-7, and it seemed to fuel their fire for the next couple of rounds. Set 2 also went to the Knights, with a score of 25-11, and they wrapped up the game early with the final set, 25-10.

The Flash Today’s Grace Kiker got a chance to catch up with SFK coach, Kristi Norwood after their win.

Kristi said, “I’m so unbelievably proud of this group of young ladies. They come out every practice and game ready to give their best and to give God the Glory in everything they do! At Tuesday night’s game, 2 players stood out to me not only as athletes but in leadership.  Senior captain – Abigail Eiland (Setter) led the team in aces with her consistent and powerful serves.  As well as assists with her beautiful sets! Then Junior captain- Charlsey Cole (setter & outside hitter) also led the team in assists and her tactical hits against the defense were unstoppable.”

FAITH is set to play another home game against Waco Liberty TONIGHT (9/7) at Sky High Gym.  Start times are 4, 5 and 6:30 p.m. for the JH, JV and Varsity games. Support your local Faith Knights!
