The Stephenville FAITH Knights (5-1) traveled to Cranfills Gap (2-4) on Friday night, Sept. 29, for another exciting game of 6-man football. The Junior High teams played first, and the “Little Knights” dominated. They mercy-ruled the Lions in the first half with a final score of 64-6.

The Varsity Knights lost to the Cranfills Gap Lions at a home game almost exactly a year ago, and they knew it wouldn’t be a breeze this time around. The Knights fought hard and played a great game.

FAITH won the coin toss and #10 Austin Aardal (Junior) received the first kick of the game and ran it all the way into the end zone for the first touchdown of many. The Knights kept up their momentum with an excellent offensive game, entering halftime with a score of 64-26. FAITH kept their foot on the throttle and the defense did not allow a single point in the second half. The Knights mercy ruling the Lions in the beginning of the 4th quarter with a final score of 71-26.

Knights are 5-1 going into their game this Saturday, October 9, against the Lubbock Titans (1-5). The game will be held at the Titans’ home field in Wilson.

If you’re up for a road trip, come support all three of the FAITH Knights Football teams. JV will play at 1 p.m., JH will play at 3 p.m. and Varsity will be playing around 5 or 5:30 (pending on the end time of JH game).
