The Stephenville FAITH Knights (6-1) traveled to Lubbock on Saturday for a long day of football against the Lubbock Titans.
They played the Titans Junior High, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. The JH and JV played hard-fought games but fell to the Titans in both matchups.
The SFK Varsity had a very intense game, they fell to the Titans the last couple of years, and they went into this one prepared for a battle.
The night started off rough for the Knights, with the Titan defense holding FAITH to one touchdown in the first half. The Knights entered halftime with a score of 6-18.
Defensively, both teams played lights out the entire night, leading to an extremely low-scoring game for 6-man football. In the end, the Knights came out on top, with a nail-biting 1-point lead, 27-26.
This week the Knights are headed to Allen Academy in Bryan, TX to play the BVCHEA Mustangs (4-1) on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
