A wonderful football season has come to an end for the Stephenville Faith Knights. They played an incredible game Friday in the TAIAO Division 1 Quarterfinals and fought till the very last play of the game, but unfortunately lost to the Westlake Academy Blacksmiths by one touchdown.
Overall, it was a successful season for the Faith Knights, ending 8-3 overall and 3-1 in their district games. The Knights had 6 starters qualify to play in the All-Star Game this December in Bryan. They had 2 players qualify offensively and 4 qualify defensively – which is the most defensive players to qualify from any individual team in TAIAO.
The coaching staff said they are looking forward to next season and all that is in store for the FAITH Knights, but everyone will definitely miss Seniors, No. 7 Travis Robertson and No. 4 Preston Hyde.
