Randy Lane Golightly was born April 27, 1950, in Stephenville, Texas to parents Woody and Delma (Littleton) Golightly passed away at home in Iredell, Texas on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the age of 73.
Randy, also known as “Go” at the Stephenville Fire Department or PA to his wonderful grandsons, Roe & Lane, and Dad by his chosen son, Marty.
Randy loved to give Roe and Lane a hard time about their hair but loved them so much and expected them to be disciplined men like he was. Randy also loved Caitlin, Roe’s wife and Brandi, Marty’s wife so much as they were a true gift to him as his wife Jean Ann.
Randy was blessed to have good friends and a wonderful family. His brother Paul and wife Nancy Golightly, sister Wanda and husband Leonard Kropp, sister Sharon and husband Jimmy Pack, sweet and fun nieces, nephews and cousins as well as extended family. He will be joined in heaven by mom and dad and sister Sue.
Randy was an Army Veteran, and his family would like to thank the VA doctors and nurses in Temple and Waco who took such good care of him, as well as Wings Over Texas Hospice for their amazing care of Randy and his family.
Visitation Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home, Hico, Texas.
