On Thursday, February 1, Morgan Mill ISD officials and board members will host a public meeting regarding the possibility of building a high school for the district. Currently, students attend MMISD through the eighth grade before graduating and attending one of the many high schools already in Erath County.
The meeting on Feb. 1 is open to the public, including parents of MMISD students and MMISD taxpayers. It will be held at 6 p.m. at the Morgan Mill Community Center and will allow the public a chance to voice their opinions on the plans for a potential high school.
According to district officials, “there will be a presentation of the plans, costs and risks, followed by a question and answer session.”
