The Stephenville Honeybee basketball team is on a three-game winning streak and they plan to keep the wins coming.
The Bees (20-10, 5-2) are coming off two big district wins. On Saturday, January 27, Stephenville beat the Graham Lady Blues, 49-25. And this past Saturday, the Bees defeated the Brownwood Lady Lions, 38-24.
Leading the Bees in the Brownwood game were Chayni Chamberlain with 12 points, Brinley Hall and Audrey Brandon with 6 each, Caitlyn Skiles and Marin Copeland with 5 points apiece and Kyla Ray with 4.
Stephenville now looks to Glen Rose, who they will face on Tuesday, February 6. The Lady Tigers (28-3) are undefeated in District 6 play, including a trip to Stephenville where GR won, 29-74. This time the Bees will have to face the Lady Tigers on their own court. Tip-off will be at 5:45 p.m. in the Glen Rose HS Gym.
