Gary Wayne Moore born April 30, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Arbe and Avonne (Dixon) Moore, passed away February 9, 2024, in Hico, Texas at age 74. Gary was known as “Uncle Gary” to many and was lovingly known as “PoPo” by his grandchildren. Gary was an avid fisherman, hunter and traveler. He loved the outdoors, especially Alaska and Canada. He had a love for adventure, he loved skiing and scuba diving. Gary had many interests and accomplishments, receiving many awards and accolades throughout his lifetime. After honorably serving in the US Army, Gary was successful in a myriad of professions and rounded out his career ae postmaster for the US Postal Service.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Maude Dixon; brother Arbe Moore Jr.; and great niece Jessica Whitmire.

Gary is survived by wife Tiffany Flowers-Moore; daughter Kellie Moore; stepdaughters Shannon Jobe and husband John, Harper Rehwaldt; stepson Erie Rehwaldt; grandsons Cash Wayne Turnbo, Clifford Jobe; granddaughters Cassadie Jobe, Chloe Jobe. Gary is also survived by in-laws Lee and Lisa Flowers, sister in-law Melody Flowers and partner Ryan Herwald. Gary is also survived by best dog Ollie.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1pm, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at First Baptist Church. Hico, Texas.
