Jose Ruben Barrera, 78, passed away on February 15, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born
on May 15, 1945, in Mexico, to Elpidio Barrera and Otilia Hernandez. Ruben was a hard worker,
but his greatest job was providing for his family, and to dedicate his life to Jesus. He married the
love of his life, Bernice Ramirez, and together they had several children. He and his family were
faithful servants of God.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Bernice, his children, Mariela Barrera, Jose Luis Barrera,
Gabriela Karina Barrera, Ruben Barrera, and Carolina Barrera. Along with 15 grandchildren and
4 great grandchildren.
Ruben is preceded in death by both of his parents as well as one daughter, Sandra Barrera.

Service Information
Visitation will be held from 7:30 until 9 p.m. on Friday, February 16, at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel.
