(September 4, 1937 – February 17, 2024)
Don Ray Ables, born in Hico, Texas September 7, 1937, to parents Loyd and Elbie (Wilson) Ables, passed away February 17, 2024, at age 86. Don enjoyed doing genealogy research, going back many generations and sharing that research with his family. Don served his country in the US Navy; upon his discharge he was a graphic designer in Dallas.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jimmy Ables: two sisters Joyce Frost and Jean Giesecke.
Surviving Don are one brother Buddy Ables and wife Judy of Comanche, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
