Erath County Sheriff’s Office and the Stephenville Police Department teamed up on Wednesday, February 21, as the Erath County Joint Narcotics Unit and conducted an investigation into illegal narcotic activity in the 2200 block of W Lingleville Rd. During the investigation, a suspect was identified as Devan Hernandez. Investigators with the unit were able to take Hernandez into custody for the Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 >=4 Grams < 200 Grams and seized 8 grams of cocaine. Hernandez also had outstanding class C warrants that were served as well. This case has been forwarded to the Erath County District Attorney’s office for review.
