Texan Volleyball opens registration for 10 summer camp opportunities

STEPHENVILLE – The Tarleton State Volleyball program released information and opened registration for the upcoming summer camps Friday.
 
Tarleton State Volleyball will host 10 camps in the summer of 2024. These sessions will allow athletes ranging from 1-12 grades the opportunity to train with and learn from Division I athletes and an experienced and enthusiastic coaching staff.
 
The summer will start off strong with an activity filled day on June 13 as Texan Volleyball will host three separate sessions for 7-12 graders. The first camp session will welcome athletes from 9-11 a.m. for offensive play sets. Session two will focus on pin hitters and setters from 12 -2 p.m. The day will conclude with a serve receive session from 3-5 p.m.
 
On June 14, 9-12 graders can attend Elite Camp 1 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
 
The camp dates for June will conclude on the 15th with Fundamentals Camp 1 for 1-8 grade athletes. 
 
The month of July will feature five more camps. July 17 will see two camp opportunities for 7-12 graders. The libero camp session will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. The setter camp session will pick up at 2 p.m. and finish at 5 p.m.
 
Hitter camp will take place on July 18 for 7-12 graders and goes from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
 
Elite Camp 2 is on July 19 for grades 9-12 and will last from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
 
The final camp opportunity of the summer will be on the 20th and welcomes 1-8 graders for Fundamentals Camp 2.
