Blakeney Harmon Sanders II, born March 28, 1938, in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Blakeney and Edwina (Miller) Sanders I, passed away March 11, 2024, in Hamilton, Texas at age 85.
Blakeney was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Jeanne Steward.
Surviving Blakeney are wife Zadie Sanders, children Blakeney Scott Sanders, Keith Sanders and wife Stephanie, Michelle Gardner and husband Thomas, Terry Duncan and wife Linda, Sharon Duffek, Karen Hays and husband Bart and Tracy Duncan and wife Maria. Blakeney is also survived by siblings, Sue Ann Ross and husband Robert, Bob Sanders and wife Anne, Kathy Sanders, 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation Saturday March 16, 2024, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services 2pm, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Black Family Cemetery with Rev. Loen Clift officiating.
