Brenda Gail (Cobbs) Bleeker, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Stephenville,
Texas.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 A.M Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M Friday March 29, 2024 at the Stephenville Funeral Home.
She was born on September 27, 1942, in Van Zandt County, Texas, to Grady Melvin Cobbs and
Mary Alice Wise. After graduating high school, Brenda married the love of her life, Brad
Bleeker in Seagoville, Texas, on July 1, 1961. In 1974, they moved to Morgan Mill and have
been in the community since. Brenda was a hard worker and loved taking care of people and
her family so naturally, she was a nurse aid at the nursing home then a home health caregiver
for quite some time. Brenda was a part of Morgan Mill Baptist Church.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Brad of Morgan Mill, as well as her beloved grandson,
Jacob Gunnar Bleeker of Stephenville; Brother-in-Law, Bruce Bleeker and wife Cindy of Morgan Mill; Sisters-in-Law, Alice Woods of Kaufman and Bonnie Adams of Gordon.
Brenda is preceded in death by her Father, Grady Melvin Cobbs and her Mother, Mary Alice (Wise) Krasucky; and her son, Melvin Bleeker.
