Brent Allen Wolf, 65, of Stephenville died with his loving family surrounding him, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Funeral services for Brent will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, April 1st at the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, with Dr. Ken May officiating.  Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.  Visitation with the Wolf family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Brent was born on September 22, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas to Charles Wayne and Lee Sheskey Wolf.  He attended public school in Stephenville and graduated from Stephenville High School in 1977.   While in school, Brent was an exceptional athlete who was passionate in sports. He was an All-Star player in baseball and football. After graduation Brent went on to attend Tarleton State University.  He worked with his father, Wayne and brother, Dwayne at Wolf Drilling Company, drilling water wells throughout Texas. Starting in 1989, he and his fellow crew, drilled numerous water wells for Operation Restore Hope and the US Troops in Somalia, East Africa, and also in Cabinda, Angola, in West Africa for a period of 10 years. Many of these water wells are still contributing water to operate orphanages in Africa. Afterwards, Brent started his own company Wolf Trucking Company, working in business partnership with his brother, Dwayne. 

Brent enjoyed the simple life. He loved to fish and play golf on a beautiful day with his close friends. He was a passionate golfer who won a few tournaments throughout the years. He also loved to rescue animals, and especially cared for his dogs.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Brent spent remainder of his career working for Erath County- Precinct 1.  He lived most of his life in Stephenville.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Wolf. 

Brent is survived by his mother, Lee Wolf; brother, Dwayne and wife Dawn Wolf; sister, Crystal Wolf and husband Randy Traylor; several nieces and nephews including, nephew, Dr. Jeffrey and wife Dr. Ariane Lemieux Traylor; and niece, Lauren Traylor and her fiancé Wilson Day; nephew, Devin Nolan; and nieces, Heather and Kimberly Wolf and many many dear friends.

The Wolf family wish expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Erath County Humane Society.
