Frankie Marie Howell, a beloved member of the Stephenville community, passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 14, 1951, Frankie leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to her family and her profession.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Alma Carr, and her sister-in-law, Tommie Carr. She is survived by her children, Jason Howell of Granbury and Julie Mangrum and her husband Sam of Stephenville. Frankie was a devoted sister to Carol Moring and her husband Ronnie, and Jim Carr, all of Stephenville.

As a grandmother, Frankie cherished her role, leaving behind a host of grandchildren: Corbett, Ray, Jordan, Rachel, Madison, Ethan, Chayla, Kayla, Faith, and Bobby. Additionally, she was blessed with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom brought joy into her life.

Frankie dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse. Her compassion and commitment shone brightly during her tenure at Harris Methodist Erath County and various nursing homes. Through her work, she touched countless lives, providing comfort and healing to those in need.

In accordance with Frankie’s wishes, there will be no scheduled funeral service, as she chose to be cremated. Frankie’s love for dogs was a defining aspect of her life, and she found great joy in their companionship.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Frankie’s memory are encouraged to make donations to the Erath County Humane Society. Your contributions will continue Frankie’s legacy of compassion and care for animals, reflecting her deep-seated love for her furry friends.

As we remember Frankie’s life and the impact she had on all who knew her, let us also extend our support to the causes she held dear, ensuring that her spirit of kindness and generosity lives on.
