James “Jim” Dillard Hutcheson

James Dillard Hutcheson parted ways with this Earth on April 23, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side. James was born to his parents, Jatha (Mosley) and John Dillard Hutcheson, on April 6, 1959, in Weatherford, Texas.

 Jim married his light in life, Donna (Tate) Hutcheson, and during their 17 years together they created lots of laughter and great memories with their 3 children.  He was known for his great example in his faith and humility by serving. Whether it was as a Deacon and strong member of the First Christian Church in Stephenville, Texas, or cooking and smoking brisket for gatherings, church, family, friends, or the Homeless Shelter in Fort Worth, Texas. He took pride in all his doings, but most of all was his family, and a great round of golf.

Jim is preceded by his parents, Jatha and John Hutcheson, sister, Rebecca Perryman, and grandson, Cass McNabb.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Hutcheson, of Bluff Dale, Texas, his children, Nathan Hutcheson, of Mineral Wells, Texas, daughter, Krystal McNabb, of San Antonio, Texas, daughter, Samantha Bowers, of Dublin, Texas, grandchildren, Emily Bowers, Reagan Bowers, Claire McNabb, Noah McNabb, William Hutcheson, siblings, Cliff Hutcheson, Kathi Smith, and numerous other relatives, and dear friends.

Donations are welcome to be made to the First Christian Church in Stephenville, Texas, or Narcotics Anonymous in Stephenville, Texas in honor of Jim.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Harrell Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm

Services will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at the First Christian Church in Stephenville, Texas at 1:00pm and interment to follow at Glenn Cemetery in Bluff Dale, Texas
