STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Men’s Basketball has announced five camps for future basketball players and potentially future Texans spanning across June and July.

The first camp scheduled is a day camp for kids to get more involved in the game of basketball. The game will be split into two sections, kindergarten to sixth grade and seventh grade to 12th grade. Both sections will be three days starting on June 4th and closing on June 6th. Each section will have a three-hour time span with the younger group holding from 9 a.m. to noon, and the older group starting at 2 p.m. and ending at 5 p.m. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and Texan basketball as part of the 200 dollar cost of the camp. Lunch will not be provided to campers.

Additionally, the Texans will host another three-day camp from July 8-10 built for kindergartners up to seventh graders. The three-day camp will help introduce basketball to younger players and hone skills to experienced players. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each of the three days. Lunch will not be provided, but campers will receive a free camp t-shirt and Texan basketball.

The other three camps are built to future Texans. On June 7, unsigned high school graduates and junior college prospects looking for a college home, are invited to showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff. The camp will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the cost of attendance is 100 dollars. Another camp of this style is set for August 3, open for any high school athletes and unsigned class of 2025 senior prospects looking for a collegiate home. The camp will run from 1-5 p.m. and the cost is 50 dollars. In both camps, athletes will be given the opportunity for scrimmages to showcase their skills in front of a Division I coaching staff.

Finally, on June 13-14 high school athletes looking to enhance their skills are invited for a two-day camp. Athletes will work on game specific skills and learn what it takes to one day become a Division I player. The camp will run from 1-5 p.m. and costs 100 dollars.
