Services for Amber Cato Watts will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Church for the Lost & Found – Dublin First Assembly, with Dr. Cliff Simms officiating. Burial will follow at Barbee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Amber was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on July 6, 1988, to Jay W. Matsler and Loisesther Leona Cato. Amber passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in Mingus, Texas, at the age of 36.
Amber had a love for music and enjoyed singing. She also loved to shop, especially while hunting for good deals and garage selling. Amber loved to paint and had a knack for refurbishing furniture. She could take something old and worn out and turn it into something beautiful and new. Amber will be missed by many.
Survivors include her mother, Leona Cody of Stephenville, Texas; and father, Jay Matsler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Laci Watts of Marlow, Oklahoma, and Everlei Moran of Stephenville, Texas; son, Evan Frantz of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brother, James Ray and wife, Meranda of Brownwood, Texas; and several other brothers and sisters; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
