Carl Howard Weatherford of Granbury, Texas passed away from this life on August 20, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Carl was born on October 8, 1956, to his parents, JoAnn Gober and Thomas Howard Weatherford, in Allendale, South Carolina.
Carl was a dedicated man, whether it was over 30 years in construction, or while serving his friends and family. He was dependable, no matter the situation. Carl was very creative. He was gifted with many talents and enjoyed making things from wood and giving things he made to his friends. His favorite activity was to start his day at Pam’s Cafe, drinking coffee with his friends, sharing stories, events of the day and the latest news around town. If you wanted to know what was happening in Granbury, you asked Carl because he knew all about it. He will be missed by many.
Carl is preceded by his parents and two younger brothers, Paul and David Weatherford.
He is survived by his niece, Amy Vaughan and husband, Jason, a great nephew, Elliott Vaughan, great niece, Abigail Vaughan, all of Medina, TN, and two uncles, Thomas Gober and wife, Pauline, of Madisonville, TN, Roger Gober and wife, Rebecca, of Manchester, TN.
The family will be accepting visitors on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Harrell Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm
