Peter Robert Denver, 70, passed away on August 25, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 8, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey to Robert and Irene Denver. After completing high school, he went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force. He later furthered his education at Trenton State College where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. On May 17, 1980, Peter married the love of his life, Peggy Budeau, in Allentown, New Jersey. He was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. He worked for Baker Hughes oil service company for 30 years in sales and as a business development manager. In 2010 Peter and his wife moved to Stephenville, Texas. Before making their home in Erath County they lived in Midlothian and in Corpus Christi. He was full of life and had many hobbies that he somehow found the time to enjoy even with a busy schedule. He loved hunting, fishing, playing pool, and gardening, but more than anything, he loved his family.
Peter is survived by his wife, Peggy Denver, his sons, Douglas Denver of Bakersfield, California, and Edward Denver and his wife, Terri of Port Aransas, Texas, his grandchildren, Katie Denver, Kristina Denver, Joel Denver, and Trenton Denver, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
Peter is preceded in death by both of his parents.
A memorial service for Peter Denver will be held at a later date.
