Funeral services of Susan Culpepper will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday September 4, 2024, at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday September 3, 2024, at Cowboy Church of Erath County.
Susan (Poston) Culpepper, 56, passed away too soon on August 30, 2024, at her home in Stephenville, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1967, in Stephenville, Tx to James and Nanella ‘Cissy’ (Brown) Poston. After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, Randy Culpepper, in Baytown, Texas, on December 9, 1989. She was a hard worker and worked her way up to Chief Deputy Clerk for the Erath County District Clerk’s Office, where she recently retired after 25 years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church.
Susan is preceded in death by her Father, James Poston. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy, and her 3 beautiful children, Ashley Culpepper, Merideth Culpepper, and Morgan Brown and her husband, Colt Brown, her 4 beautiful grandchildren, Jaxon Culpepper, Avery Culpepper, Harli Brown, and Cooper Brown, her mother, Nanella ‘Cissy’ Poston, and her only brother Jason Poston, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
The Culpepper family would like to thank Wings Over Texas Hospice care. Nurse Extraordinaire, Kate Powe, and the rest of the hospice staff that guided us through this process.
