Alicia was a lifelong resident of Stephenville and was one of the first Stingerettes.  An activity carried on by her daughter and granddaughters.  She married the love of her life, Jack Berry, on September 7, 1957.  She found her footing as a farmer’s wife in the turkey and chicken barns where they lived on Poston Farms.  She continued her lifelong involvement in multi-generational agribusiness which included Biggs Produce, Poston Feed Mill, and J. B. Farms.  She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, a Girl Scout leader, and a founding member of the Erath County Livestock Association.  Together, with her best friend Maxine Dameron, she owned and operated Holiday Motel and Holiday Storage.  An adventure that culminated with Maxine and Alicia investing their earnings in two DeLorean sports cars.

She hosted the Berry family reunion in her home for over 3 decades.  This Reunion often served over 100 cherished loved ones at the highly anticipated event which continues each summer in Granbury.

Alicia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Berry; and her son, Jeff.  She is survived by her daughter, Becky and her husband Richard Wall; son, Robert and his wife Angela; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many other friends and family.

The Berry family would like to thank Companion Care, Molly, Wings Over Texas Hospice, Nurse Extraordinaire, Kate Powe, and treasured friend, Paula Cato.

The Berry family would also like expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Foster’s Home for Children, at 1779 N. Graham Street, Stephenville, Texas or Cowboy Church of Erath County at 4945 US Hwy 67, Stephenville, TX  76401.
