Wesley Robyn Bennett of Sidney, Texas passed away on September 14, 2024, in Sidney, Texas. Robyn was born to her parents, Beulah Smith and Joel Wesley “Jimmy” Nichols, on July 1, 1960, in Seminole, Texas. 

Robyn was employed at Sydney ISD for 14 years, she was dedicated to serving her family at school and at home. She loved seeing the kids daily at school, and her grandchildren were her world. She was sure to support any Sydney ISD function. Robyn loved many things in life; from butterflies and shopping, to riding motorcycles when able, and her reign as Rodeo Queen in 1976. 

Robyn is preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Jimmy Nichols, husband, Stanley Bennett, three sisters, two brothers, and grandson, Ricky Edwin House. 

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Maelena Curry and Cody Sherrod, Ashlee Angelena Curry and Richard House, two grandchildren, Sam Elam and David Elam, brother, Alfred Derington, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family extends a special thanks to Rose and the Stanley Family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 10:30am at the Highland Baptist Church. 

Lunch will be provided following services at the Highland Baptist Church.
