TARLETON

Coming off a bye last week, the Tarleton Texans (6-1, 3-0) are ranked No. 8 and will face Austin Peay on Saturday, October 26, at 3 p.m. in Clarksville, Tennessee.

STEPHENVILLE

The Stephenville Yellow Jackets (6-1, 1-0) are ranked No. 4 in 4A, D1 and will travel down US 281 to Lampasas on Friday to face Badgers (7-1, 2-0) in a battle for first place in District 4. Last week the Jackets kicked off district play with a 63-0 win over Marble Falls (2-6, 0-2) at Memorial Stadium. 

DUBLIN

The Dublin Lions (0-7, 0-2) took a difficult loss last week, 14-56, to the Tolar Rattlers (6-1, 2-0), who are in first place in District 5, 3A. This week the Lions will host the Eastland Mavericks (3-4, 0-2) at 7 p.m. at Dublin’s Cervetto Field. 

HICO

The Hico Tigers (5-2, 1-1) brought home another big win last week, defeating the Bangs Dragons (2-5, 0-2), 14-42. This week the Tigers will host the Coleman Bluecats (0-7, 0-2) at 7p.m. at Tiger Stadium in Hico.

LINGLEVILLE

The Lingleville Cardinals will hit the road and face the Gorman Panthers (2-5, 0-1) on Friday with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back after a tough, 40-50, loss to the Baird Bears (6-2, 2-0) last week.

BLUFF DALE

The Bluff Dale Bobcats (4-4, 0-2) will head to Morgan on Friday to face the Eagles (2-5, 0-1) at 7 p.m. The Bobcats are hoping to recover from last week’s loss, 83-38, to Iredell Dragons (6-2, 2-0).

THREE WAY

The Three Way Braves (8-0, 2-0) are on a roll and it didn’t stop on Friday night as they defeated the Kopperl Eagles (4-2, 0-1), 58-8. This keeps the undefeated Braves in first place in district play, which is a great place to be headed into the bye week. Three Way will host the Iredell Dragons (6-2, 2-0) in a battle for the top of District 11, 1A next week at 7:30 p.m. at Three Way ISD Field.

FAITH

The Stephenville FAITH Knights (1-6, 0-2) faced a difficult, 0-50, loss to the BVCHEA Mustangs (6-1, 2-0) on Friday night. Coaching staff said injuries were really hurting the team this year and they had at least 3 starters out last week. FAITH is headed to Cedar Hill on Friday to take on the Newman International Academy Warriors (1-7, 0-2) at 7:30 p.m.
