(October 4, 1932 – December 18, 2024)
Bobby Charles Ratliff born October 4, 1932, to parents J.B. “Dugan” and Virgie (Matlock) Ratliff, passed away December 18, 2024, at age 92. Bobby graduated from Hico High School, Tarleton College and Texas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Bobby’s career led him to work for Milley Trailor Company, IRS for 33 years as branch Manager, Vip Travel and R & R Professional Land Service, as bookkeeper, officiated Southwest Conference and Big 12 football and critiqued officials, and coached baseball. Bobby also served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Bobby enjoyed family gathering, playing music with family and friends, golf, water skiing, playing softball, card games, attending grandkids sporting events, dance, UIL competitions, and racing his stock car.
Preceding Bobby in death were his parents, his wife Shirley Ratliff, grandson Bobby Caleb Graves and son-in-law Brad Graves.
Surviving Bobby are daughters Vickie Ratliff and Kay Graves, grandchildren Lee Sims and wife Taylor, Josh Graves and wife Kylan and Danielle Graves. Bobby is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation from 10 am until services at 11 am, Monday, December 23, 2024, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home with Curt Plaxco officiating followed by burial at Hico Cemetery with military honors.
