Kathleen (Kathie) Elizabeth Whiteman, a beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2025. Born on May 11, 1951, Kathie lived a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering devotion to those around her.

Married to the love of her life, David, since November 23, 1973, Kathie built a family rooted in love and faith. Together, they raised four children: Julie (Jeromya) Beltman, Jared (Jamy) Whiteman, Jennifer (John) Salinas, and Jessica (Jarrod) Brown. Her legacy lives on through her 11 cherished grandchildren, each of whom she adored beyond measure: Reese, Eli, Caleb, Lain, Scout, Jayd, Sampson, William, Tryston, Asher, and Adeligh.

Kathie was bright, vibrant, creative, and uniquely her own. She was a go-getter—resourceful, determined, and full of life. Whether managing a bookstore, caring for her family, or pouring her love into animals, she embraced each role with joy and purpose. One of her greatest passions was cooking for large gatherings, ensuring every person at her table felt seen, valued, and deeply cared for.

A woman of steadfast faith, Kathie’s life was a testament to the power of prayer. She lifted up every person she met, facing life’s joys and challenges with worship and unwavering trust in God. Even in her final battle with dementia, she met each day with the same faith that carried her throughout her life.

Kathie was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Brown, and her sister, Judy Warrington. She is survived by her devoted husband, David; her four children and their spouses; her 11 grandchildren; her sister, Debbie Brown; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, TX, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In honor of Kathie’s love for all shades of red, the family invites those attending to wear a shade of red to celebrate her life.

Kathie’s love, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed but forever treasured by those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Kathie’s memory by giving to her home church, Grace Fellowship, designated to missions and the Stephenville Ministerial Alliance in her honor:
