Mark Libby Davis, 52, of Fort Worth, died Friday, April 25, 2025. Memorial services will be held on May 31st, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Stephenville, TX.

Mark was born on April 1st, 1973, in Stephenville to the late Mark Garner Davis and Karla Sue Davis. After high school, he attended Tarleton State University, earning a BA in English.

Following a stint in Minnesota working as a journalist, he returned to his hometown and earned his Master of Science in Information Systems. He would go on to make a career in IT, spending a few years working for the Stephenville Independent School District and then at the Tarleton Fort Worth campus.

Mark was involved with several communities, organizations and events: he was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, volunteered at local food banks, participated in several 5K runs, and a frequent patron of everything the Ft. Worth Cultural District had to offer. Though he had no children, he was a fiercely proud uncle for both his own nephew and the many kids who considered him one.

Mark is survived by his brother, Russell E. Davis; his sister-in-law Kortney Davis; his nephew Mark Errol Davis and beloved relatives on both sides of his family. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Mark G. and Karla Davis.
