Cross Timbers Soil & Water Conservation District Essay Winner
The Cross Timbers Soil & Water Conservation District would like to congratulate the winner of the Local 2025 essay contest. This year’s theme was “Home is Where the Habitat is ”. First Place winner was Stephenville High School Junior, Taylor Hice. Congratulations to Taylor! Taylor’s essay was forwarded to the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation District Area 5 essay contest, where she competed against 41 other Texas Soil and Water Conservation District entries. Taylor won 3rd place in the Area contest and will be recognized at the Area 5 Awards Program Banquet scheduled for May 6 at Dublin High School.

Cross Timbers Soil & Water Conservation District Poster Winners
The Cross Timbers Soil & Water Conservation District would like to congratulate the winner of the Local 2025 poster contest. This year’s theme was “Home is Where the Habitat is ”. First place went to Adalynn Jones, second place went to Caroline Cervetto and third place went to Niels Werkman. All students are at Hook Elementary. Congratulations to all!
