Jan Tooley, 80 of Aledo, TX went home to the Lord on May 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving
family.
Fellowship and Brunch will be held at 10 a.m. directly followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m.
on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, TX. Burial will
follow in the Hico Cemetery.
Jan was born on August 5, 1944, in McMinnville, TN to John and Darrise Stallcup. She grew up
in Stamford, TX and after completing high school she moved to Fort Worth where she met the
love of her life, Don Tooley. Jan attended business school, then married Don on July 31, 1963,
and was happily married for 61 plus years.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister, Loretta. She is survived by her
husband, Don, sister Becky (Kenneth), daughter Laura (Michael), son Barry (Tiata), four
grandchildren, and many other loved ones.
Jan was a loving wife, companion, mother and kindhearted friend to all who knew her.
