Alma Jewell Baccus, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 77.
Alma was born on May 20, 1948 in Matador, Texas to the late Clarence Hickman, and Opal Hicks. Later in life, Alma worked in a sewing factory, then as a waitress, as well as several other jobs. Alma was a beloved mother of three children, she had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed listening to Elvis. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.
Alma is survived by her children Tim Martin and wife Twila, Dale Martin, Shane Woolsey and wife April, her siblings Alene Spivey, Sherley Thomas, B.C. Hickman, and Junior Hickman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Opal Hickman.
Service Information
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, at Stephenville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 2, in the West End Cemetery in Stephenville.
