STEPHENVILLE — Tarleton State’s Texans Campus Store will become Texan Outfitters early next year, offering expanded retail inventory and moving to a new home on the bottom floor of the parking garage at 1875 W. Washington St.
The current location in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center will close at the end of business Friday, Dec. 12. All products — including textbooks, commencement regalia, course materials and academic supplies — will transition to the new store when it opens in January.
Texan Outfitters will feature an expanded selection of high-quality merchandise, including premium lines such as Horn Legend®, Kendra Scott®, Nike® and Bison Coolers™, further elevating the shopping experience for students, alumni and Texan Nation fans.
During the transition period between Dec. 12 and reopening in January, the mobile store trailer will be open on Tarleton State football game days at Memorial Stadium, and the online store will remain available 24/7.
Customer parking for the Texan Outfitters location will be available in lots P41 and 44. Access to the Washington Street parking garage is permitted after 5 p.m. each weekday and all day on weekends.
Store hours beginning in January for the Washington Street location will be:
— Sunday: noon to 5 p.m.
— Monday through Saturday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
