Virginia Nell Barron

(May 3, 1935 — May 2, 2026)

Virginia “Nell” Barron 90 of Stephenville, Texas passed away May 2,2026. She was a life long resident of Stephenville. She was married to the love of her life Jimmy Barron on November 24, 1954. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grand mother. To know her was to love her. She would light up any room she walked into. She was well know in the community she spent many years working for the Stephenville Independent School District. When she retired she devoted her time to the ones she loved. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the best “Granny” in the world. She had a love for her faith and will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She is survived by her children Jennie Burns and James Barron of Stephenville, long time daughter in law Sharon Duncan of Stephenville her grandchildren Jerry and Deana Daniel of Dublin, Texas. Brandi Barron- Johnston and Kerry Johnston, Brittany Barron, Tyler Barron and Chloe Brinkerhoff. She has 6 great grand children that she loved deeply. Maci Lindley and William Kennedy of May, Texas. Jayden Sparks, Kambria Powers and Conor Nicklas of Stephenville, Texas and Alexander and Makayla Daniel of Dublin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Barron and mother and father Paul Killion and Bama Davis. As her wishes a Celebration of Life will he had to honor her at a later date.
