(June 8, 1932 — Aug. 1, 2026)

Wanda Gay Pittman Pack was born on June 8, 1932, in Erath County, Texas, to Lee Dolph (“L.D.”) Pittman and Mary Scott Pittman. She passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on the evening of August 1, 2026, at the age of 94.

Wanda lived a life marked by unwavering faith, quiet strength, remarkable independence, and genuine kindness. She spent nearly her entire adult life on the family farm where she and her husband, Robert Carroll Pack, raised their family.

An award-winning artist, Wanda created hundreds of paintings reflecting God’s creation. Above all, she loved Jesus Christ and faithfully served alongside Carroll at Greens Creek Baptist Church for more than seventy years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carroll Pack; her parents; and her brother, Brian Wayne Pittman.

She is survived by her sons John and Elizabeth Pack, Stephen and Vickie Pack, and Joseph Scott Pack; grandchildren Stephanie and Richard Young, Dallas and Angela Pack, Landry Pack, Julian and Ashley Pack, Christina Pack, and Levi and Megan Pack; and her great-grandchildren.

If you knew Wanda, you knew what she loved most: Jesus, Carroll, her sons, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren… and cats. Mostly in that order.

Memorial Services for Wanda will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Green’s Creek Baptist church with Ben McCleery officiating.
