STEPHENVILLE – Former Tarleton State Women’s Basketball guard Arieona Rosborough will take her talents overseas, signing a professional contract with ŽKK Kraljevo in Serbia.
Rosborough is the fourth Tarleton State alum under head coach Bill Brock to sign a pro contract following graduation. She joins Teresa De Silva, Alani Fluker and Jakoriah Long as former Texans playing overseas.
In her lone season with Tarleton State Women’s Basketball in 2024-25, Rosborough led Tarleton State in most offensive categories and set multiple single season program records in the process. Rosborough set the Division I single season program record for points (408), field goals made (140), free throws made (124) and offensive rebounds (92). She also registered five 20-point games and was named Fleur-De-Lis All-Tournament Team at the Big Easy Classic.
Tarleton State accomplished several program firsts in its Division I Era with Rosborough. Finishing second in the Western Athletic Conference, the Texans received an automatic bid to WNIT for its first-ever Division I postseason tournament. The Texans received a first-round bye and played its first Division I postseason game in front of its home fans in Stephenville. Rosborough also guided the Texans’ to its first-ever Division I conference tournament semifinal after Tarleton State defeated Southern Utah 59-40 in the WAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
Rosborough began conference play in 2025 with a season-high 28 points off 9-of-15 shooting at UT Arlington (1/4), the most by a Tarleton State player in a WAC opener. With a 20-point outing in the next game against Southern Utah (1/9), she became the first Tarleton State player in the Division I Era to have two straight 20-point games through the first two conference games.
The Mansfield, Texas, native averaged 14.8 points per game in Tarleton State’s final five WAC games of the season, starting with 19 points at Seattle U (2/15) and 17 points against UT Arlington (2/22). She registered her third double-double of the season in the WAC Semifinals against UT Arlington (3/14) with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
ŽKK Kraljevoa is a professional women’s basketball club based in Kraljevo, Serbia. The team competes in the First Women’s Basketball League of Serbia, which is the top-tier women’s basketball league in the country.
Tarleton State has picked up over 1,000 wins as a senior college, with the Texans obtaining the program’s 1,000th win on Jan. 31 earlier this year. The Texans made their second straight WAC Semifinal after an upset win over Utah Valley. Tarleton State returns four letterwinners from the previous season, including starting guard Caroline Lyles.
