June 12, 1954 ~ October 21, 2026 (age 72)
It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Marshall Turner Miller Jr. who left this world on October 21, 2026, in Stephenville, TX, surrounded by those who loved him most.
Marshall was born on June 12, 1954, in Dallas County to Marshall T. Miller Sr. and Rava N. Morris. He was raised in Dallas County, and married his wife, Mary Ann Moreno, there on January 19, 1991. Marshall was 72 years old and a resident of Stephenville at the time of his passing. He loved watching his favorite channels on the TV, which included all the football games and HGTV. He would often sit and listen to the radio, catch up on recent news, and check his phone daily to see what the weather was going to do. He called his daughter, Amanda Miller, often to chat, they would talk about life, and she would listen to him tell stories about his life growing up and all the things he once had done, sometimes they would joke around and end up laughing until they cried. At the end of the conversations Amanda would always say, “I love you Daddy” and Marshall would reply “No you don’t” but in all reality they both knew how much love they had for one another. Amanda was a daddy’s girl and Marshall loved it. Marshall had a HUGE heart and would always put his family and their needs above his own.
Marshall is survived by his daughter, Amanda Miller, and husband Matthew Goodwin, adopted son, Matthew Bailey, daughter, Rachel Miller Wilborn, sister, Francis Moreno, Grandchildren, Christan Miller, Akira Wilborn, Adyan Wilborn, and Alyza Towers, Sister-in-law, Lucy and Husband Steve Munn.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marshall Sr. and Rava Miller, his brothers, Terry Miller and Ricky Miller, sisters, Pam and Marsha Miller.
He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. His family will especially miss his personal, made-up version of “God Bless America” and the way he always sang it to them when they needed it most.
