(July 24, 1984 – April 30, 2026)
Holly Kaye Smith gained her angel wings on April 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life beautifully lived.
Holly was the heart and soul of her family. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Steven Smith, on March 11, 2006. Together they built a life full of love and raised four incredible children—Holden, Stedsen, Stehlen, and Hadley—who were her greatest pride and joy. Being their mom was her favorite role, and she poured her whole heart into it every single day.
Holly is lovingly remembered by her parents, Colleen and Shawn Nichols, and her father, Keith Reynolds and his wife Pippa. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph Reynolds and his wife Sarah, Lawson Nichols, and grandmother, Terri Nichols. She was a cherished daughter-in-law to Frank and Rozanne Smith and Jane Smith.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rene (Albert) Atkinson, Priscilla (Ramses) Zavala, and Lindsey (Ryan) Loss, and her brother-in-law, Brady (Robin) Jones.
She adored her nieces and nephews—Riley, Harley, Corbin, Nora, Shawn, and many others—who brought her so much happiness and laughter.
Holly will forever be remembered by her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who were family.
Holly had a deep love for life and a gift for making others feel cared for and valued. She found joy in the little moments, the big celebrations, and especially in the time spent with those she loved most. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue nursing school, a journey she was incredibly proud of, as it reflected her caring spirit and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Holly’s kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on in everyone who knew and loved her. While her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to shine through her family and all the lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas on Sunday, May 3, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the Harrell Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Erath Gardens of Memory.
A Celebration of Life will also be held for those unable to travel, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Heights Church, 16718 W. Bellfort Ave., Richmond, Texas.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
