Robert Eric Kincanon, 66, passed away at his home near Hico, Texas, on July 3, 2026. Eric was born on February 1, 1960 to Milton (Ken) and Patsy Wisdom Kincanon. He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from North Side High School in 1978.
He had a long career as a signal maintainer for Union Pacific Railroad. During his service, he received several awards for safety of lives and equipment. One very special award was a Union Pacific Railroad wristwatch which he treasured. Eric loved to fish and snow ski. He made friends wherever he worked or lived and his boisterous laugh will be greatly missed.
Survivors: daughter, Brooke Kincanon; mother, Pat Kincanon; sister, Lisa Still and husband Danny; nephew, Cole Still and wife Dori and their children Easton and Scarlett Still, and several dearly loved cousins.
Service Information
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, in the Almeda Cemetery in Ranger.
