One taken to Fort Worth hospital in Tuesday crash

FLASH STAFF REPORT

ERATH COUNTY (March 14, 2017) – A two-vehicle crash blocked traffic on US Highway 281 Tuesday morning as emergency crews worked to free one of the drivers from her vehicle.

According to DPS, a 2016 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound when it crossed the center stripe and impacted a southbound 2011 Chevrolet flatbed pickup head-on near the Palo Pinto County line.

Erath County first responders worked alongside Palo Pinto County first responders to help 30-year-old Laura Hall from her Camry. Hall was taken via air ambulance to TexasHealth Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

Paul and Rebecca Zylman of Cleveland, Texas, were taken to TexasHealth Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville with minor injuries.

Texas DPS Trooper Jerry Hale is lead investigator on the accident with Sgt. Lynn Pierce assisting.
