STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton has advanced to the second round of the NCAA playoffs and will take on a familiar foe – the defending national champions and LSC rival, Texas A&M-Commerce.
The Texans, who are the No. 2 seed in Super Region 4, will host the Lions Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Stephenville.
Reserved season ticket holders will have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday to claim their seats before they become open to the public. Contact (254) 968-1832 to confirm the seat reservation. All other reserved tickets can be purchased prior to the game by for $12 at the Tarleton Athletics Ticket Office or online at TarletonSports.com/Tickets. Any remaining reserved tickets will be available on game day for $15 at the gate.
General admission tickets are $10 for adult and $5 for students. Only children five and under get in free.
Since this is an NCAA-hosted playoff event, the local rules regarding free admission for Tarleton students cannot be put into effect. However, the Tarleton Athletics department has purchased 1,000 free tickets for students. Those can be collected at the Rudder Way Ticket Booth, formerly the Tarleton Police Station. Students must present a valid ID. One ticket per student.
Due to the Thanksgiving holidays, the ticket booth hours have been slightly adjusted.
The Rudder Way Ticket Booth will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday. It will reopen on Friday at 12 p.m. and remain available until 5 p.m.
The Tarleton Ticket Office, which is located inside Wisdom Gym, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Fans can purchase reserved seating and general admission at the Tarleton Ticket Office in person or by calling (254) 968-1832.
Spaces for tailgating are also on sale. Tailgate reservations can be made while spaces last by calling 254-968-9912.
