A little bit about the company and those who run it…
Flash Rock Media, LLC, TheFlashToday.com and TheFlash.Today are a locally owned and operated company offering free local news and sports to the people of our community with features such as breaking news and up-to-the-minute sports scores and information in a responsible format. Long story short? We’re here for you! As employees of other media in the area, we each saw the chance for more. Now, we are bringing the best to you. So, thank you, for taking time out of your busy schedule to check out TheFlash.Today and helping us support your community and its residents.
Our mission is to provide you, as a member of the community, with news, sports, information and chamber of commerce-style calendars and events seven days a week. TheFlash.Today strives to present a website that truly reflects the perspectives of members of the communities we represent and all the greatness this area has to offer. We are a growing community and yet we have seen media coverage of the area shrinking. TheFlash.Today aims to do something about that!
We will never charge our readers for the information we have on our site. Our Facebook, Twitter accounts and more aim to provide readers with up-to-date, useful information at no cost to our readers. This philosophy has allowed us to grow exponentially in the short time we’ve been active. TheFlash.Today has already had as many as 52,209 unique devices visit the site in a single week and more than 100,000 page views in the first month.
What does this mean for local businesses and organizations? Let’s use the 52,209 users in a week. That means 12,355 of those devices the users accessed the site from came from local users – 5,341 of them living right here in Stephenville and the rest coming from towns like Dublin, Hico, Comanche, Glen Rose, Lingleville and more from the rural parts of Erath County. We can help you reach these people with any information you need to get out.
The exciting part about TheFlash.Today as a reader and user to the site is that with area organizations, law enforcement departments, elected officials and local businesses using TheFlash.Today to release information to the public, you have one-stop for everything you need to know about what’s happening in your community. Best part? It’s always free to the readers!
What about print publications? Flash Rock Media will print a number of special publications like football guides (both a preview and weekly during the season), community, medical and real estate directories and more.
The long-term goal of TheFlash.Today is to be a one-stop website for all things news, sports and community. And we want you to be a part of this exciting new venture with us!

I fixed it sorry! I even had it written down as 2nd team and just didn’t type it that way! Have a Merry Christmas 🙂
I want to take a moment to thank you for providing pizza and soda for Erath County Sheriff’s Office and Jail and Stephenville Police Department. Thank you for showing appreciation to people who spend their days serving the public. Thanks very much!
We were more than happy to! We consider it a small way to say a big thank you to those law enforcement folks out there in the cold, in the rain, in the heat and putting up with LOTS for our safety.
You guys do a good job I can’t believe how fast you guys get around this great!
Thank you. I really enjoy what you do and appreciate it.
Im a first time user to this and I reside in Dublin tx. A friend recommend that I use this to express concern about our water anf hopefully I can find resources and help on how to fix this. We have received letters in the mail about our water…the letter stated that we can cook and bathe with our water but to not drink it for it had received its highest contamination levels ..and yet this still choose to charge us out the hooha for water we can’t drink and always having to purchase on a daily basis our own drinking water. In desperate need of being pointed to the right direction to help the residence of this community

Latest “Opinion” by Malcolm Cross on July 25, 2017, states that John McCain was awarded the Medal of Honor. This is not true. His highest medal was the Silver Star.

Just wondering why some of the Stephenville and Tarleton bb games are not reported? was hoping to have one source for my sports news
I read the Dublin Police blotter. And, although I know that people want to know who reported certain incidents and what is going on. I am afraid that posting information like this may make people reluctant to report suspicious activity. And, in my opinion, this is a major problem with society. If people see something that is wrong or illegal, they need to report to law enforcement so it can be investigated. If they would, many bad things could be avoided. But, just like kids, adults are afraid to report if they think there will be repercussions for doing so. In my opinion, I feel like this is information that should not be posted on the front page of the paper.
