BBQ, Bands and Bottle Rockets on the Bosque

This Fourth of July festival will include a variety of booths and activities for all ages.

The majority of money raised will go to an Erath County non-profit organization.

A barbecue cook-off competition will be held as well. Categories are brisket, pork ribs and chicken. The cost is 150 dollars to enter all three meat categories. Cash prizes will be awarded. Email [email protected] for more information.

To enter the Bottle Rocket Kids’ Area, children will need a festival bracelet. Bracelets can be bought in advance for 5 dollars or for 10 dollars at the festival. Bracelets can be purchased at the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce, Lone Star Ag Credit, Mattressville, Saddle Rags or the Stephenville Parks and Rec Department.
