STEPHENVILLE (December 4, 2014) — Typically, suspects booked into Erath County Jail on charges of burglary of a habitation are presented with a $10,000 bond.

But not Paula Michelle Davis, 32, who was booked on just such a charge in Stephenville on Wednesday. Because of a criminal history spanning at least three states, Davis was saddled with a $30,000 bond.

A closer look at Davis’ criminal history shows her committing a series of crimes across three states. She was charged with violating probation in Alabama in June of 2013, and with uttering a forged instrument in Oklahoma in February of 2013. She has also faced forfeiture-theft of property charges.

Davis did not immediately bond out of Erath County Jail. She was still incarcerated as of 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
