Charles Weston “Wes” Wellborn

BURIAL: Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery.

Charles Weston “Wes” Wellborn (51) of Joshua, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Dec. 6th at his home. He was born on June 24, 1963 in Dublin, Texas. He was the son of Billy Joe Wellborn and Wilma Pauline (Cline) Wellborn. He was united in marriage to Callie Ethridge on Jan. 14, 1990 in Dublin. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Callie Wellborn of Joshua, Texas; His son, Jon Donavan Wellborn of Plano, Texas; His daughters, Maranda Joy Wellborn of Madison, WI, Laurie Ann Melo of Joshua, Texas; Amy Lee Wellborn of Denton, Texas and Grace Ellen Wellborn of Joshua Texas; (3) grandchildren – Abigail, Maliyah and Brendanlee Weston. His brother, Leslie Joy Wellborn of Joshua, Texas and his sister, Paula Sue Manohar of Ft. Worth, Texas and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He was a member of the Godley Church of Christ. He was a Registered Nurse for Hospice, a graduate of Dublin High School in 1981 where his nick-name was “Bulldog” on the Football Team. He loved to go camping, fishing, watching movies, grilling outdoors and had a great sense of humor, but most of all he loved his family.
