Sport: (December 15, 2014) — Two athletes from Dublin have been named to all-state teams, and one is being recognized by the Dublin ISD Board of Trustees Monday evening.
Sunny Clark is a first-team all-state selection in Class 3A volleyball by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. She’ll be honored tonight.
Such recognition is sure to foliow for Dublin kicker Isaac Campos, an honorable-mention selection to the Associated Press All-State Football Team in Class 3A.
Clark led the Lady Lions to a district title, an area championship and an appearance in the regional quarterfinals.
Campos helped the Lions to their first playoff appearance in 11 seasons and first post season win and area-round appearance in 50 years.
