Sport: STEPHENVILLE (January 2, 2014) — Stephenville’s boys basketball game against Lorena has been postponed until 10 a.m. Saturday and will be varsity only.
The Stephenville girls are still traveling to Springtown Friday for a 2:30 p.m. game, as originally scheduled. Sub-varsity teams play at 1 and 4 p.m.
The boys were originally scheduled to have all their teams in action, but head coach Jonathan Normand said the decision was made late Thursday night to drop sub-varsity games and delay the varsity contest.
As of 8:30 a.m., the Tarleton men’s game is still on as originally scheduled. The No. 4 Texans host York College (Neb.) at 7 p.m.
