Local officers take down alleged narcotics dealer

ERATH COUNTY (March 19, 2015) – The Dublin and De Leon police departments had involvement in a late night drug arrest that took a large quantity of what appears to be either methamphetamine or cocaine. Drakus Demon Armstead, 27, had four charges lodged against him when he was booked into the Erath County Jail in Stephenville, Texas.

Police allege Armstead attempted to flee in a vehicle and have charged him with four separate crimes including the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG 1>=4G<200G, Evading arrest or detention with a vehicle , possession of a controlled substance, PG3<28G, and possession of a controlled substance PG1>=4G<200G.

Officer Brandon Gail of the Dublin Police Department and Officer Ian Baker of the De Leon Police Department were involved in the apprehension of the suspect.
