STEPHENVILLE (June 5, 2015) — AgTexas Farm Credit Services is a staple when it comes to business in Erath County, and now it has shiny new home.
A member-owned cooperative, AgTexas welcomed local members and the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce to its new building on US Highway 377 just south of Stephenville Friday for a ribbon cutting and lunch catered by Tumbleweed BBQ.
The additional space will allow for more efficient operations for this branch of AgTexas, which serves Erath and six surrounding counties.
In addition to production agriculture lending, AgTexas has an umbrella of services that includes financing real estate, equipment financing and leasing programs, crop, livestock and term life insurance and appraisal services. AgTexas also offers a number of products to assist borrowers with their loans and manage their money, including the AgriLine checking program and AgSweep.
