RANGER  – Ever dream of having a career that can help others? Or one that has unlimited potential for growth and travel? If your answer to either of those questions was “yes,” Ranger College may have the training necessary to get you started in an exciting – and ever expanding – career in nursing.

Ranger College is now accepting applications for enrollment into its Associate Degree of Nursing program at all five of its campuses, including Stephenville, Early/Brownwood, Ranger, Comanche and Olney.

“We’d like to encourage anyone who is considering a career in the nursing field to come in and explore our program,” said Ranger College Dean of Nursing Carolyn Zapata. “We are excited about nursing and want to help produce the best nurses in the area. This is a career where you can make a difference in the lives of others.”

Zapata said prospective nursing students should contacted her for an initial interview. From there, they will need to apply to Ranger College in person, or via on-line at rangercollege.edu, and then schedule an HESI entrance exam. Students will also need a current vaccination record.

Students completing Ranger College’s 4-semester nursing program are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam.

In August, Ranger College presented nursing degrees to 79 students during a standing-room-only ceremony in Stephenville.

For more information about the Ranger College Associate Degree Nursing program contact Zapata at the Early/Brownwood campus at (325) 641-5726 or via e-mail at czapata@rangercollege.edu.
